R&B sensation Usher does not seem to have Justin Bieber’s back when it comes to his racist joke video surfacing. The video shows Justin Bieber using the N-word and him laughing about it. At the time Bieber says he was 15 years old and he did not know any better.

When his mentor Usher was asked by reporters to give a comment about the situation, he was seen fleeing to his car not saying a word. Bieber apologized on June 1 for the video that has been seen by many of his fans and people around the world. He is quoted saying in his apology what he did was a “Reckless and immature mistake” and “Didn’t understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt people”. All of this is according to Hollywood.

The younger singer has been gone from being an innocent child star to transitioning into a young adult struggling to find his true identity. Although Usher does not seem to be in his corner, his famous celebrity friend and rapper Souljia Boy has the young singers back. Souljia Boy feels Bieber made a mistake and people should move on.

"I talked to Justin yesterday. I called him. He (is) in Cancun (in Mexico). We spoke about it. It's really just so old, man. He was 15... The footage was super old. It was a very touchy, serious situation, but we all slip up, we all make mistakes and I told him, I said, 'You're a great person...' He said, 'Thank you... for having my back.' It is what it is. Let the kid live. We all slip up, we all make mistakes. Y'all know he's not racist. I'm his homie, all his homies is black (sic)... he's not racist,” said Souljia Boy, confirmed by TMZ.
