Zac Brown Band can now add its name to the list of most memorable performances at Boston’s Fenway Park. On Saturday night, the band performed an almost three hour show and was clearly very happy about it. Zac brown even announced that this concert was his “favorite.”
The band played their material of their own to start the show and showed-off a bit while playing. They played “As She’s Walking Away” and “Chicken Fried” which are favorites among fans. Brown showed his skills with a guitar while wearing a top-hat and high-fiving fans. Fiddler, Jimmy De Martini, had his shining moment during the classic Charlie Daniels Band’s song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" according to Rolling Stone Music. Midway, the band tuned it down a little by playing some covers while sitting. They played David Allen Coe’s “You Never Even Called Me by My Name” and Outlaws’ “Freeborn Man” says The Boston Globe. Band played more famous rock band covers including songs from John Mayer and Dropkick Murphys.
The band had so much energy and kept the audience engaged the whole time. Brown thanked the audience at the end of night after their performance of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.”
