When it comes to truly excellent and influential bands, one TheCelebrityCafe.com simply won’t suffice. So, since many of you enjoyed reading my first installment, I’ve decided to concoct a second. It was hard to believe, but the “cut list” for this one was actually harder than the first, as I struggled with leaving a few songs off of this list much more than I had when writing the first.
I realized that there were A&A songs that (hard as it was for me to believe) that I had somehow missed and never heard before. So I gave them a listen, hardly expecting them to affect at all the list below. But it most certainly did indeed, as numbers 9, 5, and 4 wouldn’t have been included without that last-second listen!
I truly believe that this second “Top Ten” would blow away the first of most other band’s such lists. So here you go, the almost-as-awesome-but-not-quite-the-best-but-still-amazing “Second Edition of the Top Ten Songs of Angels and Airwaves.”

9. Diary
Album: Stomping the Phantom Break Pedal
This song is over eight minutes in length, but the instrumentals are so masterfully done that the time listening to it whizzes by like that of a normal track. Lofty and rousing, as is the A&A way, this song is sure to delight.

8. Letters to God, Part II
Album: Love
A sequel to a track composed by Blink-182, it couldn’t be more different. Tom DeLonge sings with the excitement of a man who has made a enigmatic discovery that he can’t wait to share with everyone he knows. Including God himself, a bold endeavor indeed.

4. A Little’s Enough
Album: We Don’t Need to Whisper
There is many a song a there that attempts to comfort those injured at heart, but I must say that this one does it with the best of them. And the concept is simple, yet revolutionary; just be open to a letting in love, even if it’s only a little bit, and your fortunes shall improve.

1. Secret Crowds
Album: I-Empire
The song opens with a wavy wash of vitality and vigor, and then plays it’s chorus out anthem-style, urging the listener to jump out of their seat and move with the track, reaching it’s peak during a bridge that feels as if one is opening up and letting lose all of the passion and vivacity that they have to spill, all out into the world.
