Zack Snyder continued teasing fans on his Twitter page, showing off a new picture of Ben Affleck as Batman, better known as Batfleck. The image is a head-shot, showing how serious this new Batman is.
The image, posted by the director on Twitter this afternoon, is similar to the shot Snyder posted back in May. Both images had a dark tone, with Batfleck looking down at the ground. In the new image, we see that Batfleck is not only angry about something, but he also forgot where his Bat-razor went.
On Wednesday, Snyder posted a picture of Henry Cavill wearing a Jedi cloak and carrying a lightsaber, but chances are that Star Wars characters will not be seen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Of course, today’s image came on the same day that the San Diego Comic-Con started. DC Comics does have a special Batman 75th anniversary pavillion on the convention floor and the new image is featured in a montage wall there, the company said.
“Yes, as fans have started pointing out, within the dozens of photos and illustrations on the wall is a brand new image of Batman from the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” the company said.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice isn’t opening until May 6, 2016, so we have awhile to go before actually seeing if Batfleck has more than one emotion.
