Country singer Luke Bryan turns 38 today. Bryan began his musical career in the mid-2000s, writing songs for artists like Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. In 2007, he signed with Capitol Records in Nashville, Tennessee along with his cousin, Chad Christopher Boyd. He released the album I'll Stay Me, which included the singles "All My Friends Say," "We Rode in Trucks" and "Country Man." The follow-up album Doin' My Thing included "Do I," which Bryan co-wrote with Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood of the band Lady Antebellum, and the number one singles "Rain Is a Good Thing" and "Someone Else Calling You Baby."

Bryan's next album, Tailgates & Tanlines, was released in 2011 and includes "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)," and the number one singles "I Don't Want This Night to End," "Drunk on You" and "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye." Bryan's fourth album, Crash My Party, was released in August 2013 and includes the number one singles "That's My Kind of Night," "Drink a Beer" and "Play It Again." Bryan co-wrote the majority of his singles and co-produced all four albums and one compilation album with Jeff Stevens. Bryan won the Academy of Country Music Awards' Entertainer of the Year award in 2013.

In December 2006, Bryan married his college sweetheart, Caroline Boyer. They have two sons.

David Hasselhoff, 62

Actor, singer, producer and businessman David Hasselhoff turns 62 today. Hasselhoff is best known for his lead roles as Michael Knight in the popular 1980s series Knight Rider and as L.A. County Lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the series Baywatch, which he also produced for a number of seasons up until 2001 when the series ended with Baywatch Hawaii. Hasselhoff also transitioned into a music career during the end of the 1980s and the early 1990s. He was noted for his performance at the Berlin Wall at New Year's Eve 1989.

Hasselhoff has been involved with multiple talent shows. He was the first celebrity eliminated from the eleventh season of Dancing with the Stars. He was also a judge on NBC's America's Got Talent from 2006 to 2009. In 2011, he joined the Britain's Got Talent judging panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre. He appeared in Marvel Comics Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. movie in 1998 as the title character, and as himself in the 2004 film The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and also Piranha 3DD and Hop.

Hasselhoff has two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley Amber, with his former wife, Pamela Bach. Hasselhoff currently has primary physical custody and full legal custody of the two girls.
