The first teaser-trailer for the upcoming film Horns dropped on Tuesday, showing off just enough Radcliffe with horns to stoke interest in the film, which is due out later this in the United States and Halloween internationally.
The 1-minute trailer shows townsfolk angrily yelling outside of Radcliffe's character's house holding up signs ("Go to Hell") all blaming him for the death of his girlfriend. Radcliffe isn't seen from the front until the final seconds of the trailer when he is revealed to now have horns.
A voiceover presumably provided by the star notes that "No one is born evil, but sometimes when you go through hell the only way out is to walk deeper into the fire."
After the 2013 Toronto Film Festival, RADiUS-TWC and Dimension both teamed up to distribute the film domestically.
In addition to the former Harry Potter star, Juno Temple, Joe Anderson, Kelli Garner, Heather Graham and others co-star in the film, based off Joe Hill's novel. Alexandre Aja is in the director's seat.
MTV News reports that a domestic release date is expected to be announced at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con.
