In a new public service announcement put out by the Human Rights Campaign, singer Demi Lovato speaks out about her belief in marriage equality for same sex couples and straight alike.
Posted on YouTube on July 9, in the video Lovato speaks to the camera, saying, “I believe love comes in all different shapes, sizes and colors. So whether you’re LGBT or straight, your love is valid, beautiful and an incredible gift.”
Demi Lovato has made her support for the LGBT community clear, performing at both the Los Angeles Pride Parade and New York City Pride’s Dance on the Pier event earlier this summer as reported by Fox News Latino.
In fact, Lovato used the LA Pride Parade as the backdrop of her music video for her song “Really Don’t Care” featuring Cher Lloyd. Along with highlighting numerous LGBT supporters having fun at the Parade, the video featured a few guest stars such as Kat Graham and Perez Hilton according to MTV.com.
