Director Bryan Singer posts the first page of X-Men: Apocalypse online

Director Bryan Singer is beginning to hype the new film.

Singer created an Instagram account and shared the first page of the X-men: Apocalypse script, according to Variety. The monologue is dated June 6.

This is particularly good news after Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past just surpassed Captain America: The Winter Solider in ticket sales this weekend. With ticket sales totaling more than $713 million in just over a month, it is a stellar Summer.

Singer also tweeted a photo of himself working with the writers on new film. X-Men: Apocalypse was written by Michael Dougherty, Dan Harris, Simon Kinberg, and Bryan Singer. The cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, and Hugh Jackman.

Meanwhile Singer’s legal representatives are fielding allegations about sexual assault from former model and actor Michael Egan. As the difficult legal matters continue, the creative team moves forward with the new project.

According to the LA Times, the latest film from the X-Men franchise is set for release on May 27, 2016. The first X-Men film was released in 2000.
