EA announced that they will charge an amount of $4.99 a month for Xbox One games. This is similar to the approach Netflix is using for their video delivery services.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Electronic Arts introduced a service called EA access, which starts in a beta version for some players now, and will be available to every video-game console this summer.
Initially, gamers are able to play 4 popular EA games; namely, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4. The cost would be $4.99 monthly or $29.99 annually. On a separate purchase, these games could amount to over $100, according to EA. Later this year, the company plans to add more games. Access members can additionally enjoy 10% discounts on on digital purchases, full games, downloadable content and in-game currency. EA announced that Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA Live 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition can be played by subscribers for 5 days before their actual release date.
EA access will be available in the U.S., Canada and Europe. The selling subscriptions include GameStop, EB Games and Amazon.
