The first trailer for George Miller’s next Mad Max movie came out during San Diego Comic Con. The new movie has stars like Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. Fans of the Mad Max films can now get a peak of what the newest movie will look like.

In the original Mad Max movies, Mel Gibson played the lead of “Mad” Max Rockatansky but now Tom Hardy is taking over as we previously reported. The film will take audiences to a post-apocalyptic wasteland were trouble seems to be brewing. This newest film will be a re-imagined version of the 1979 Mad Max and will be called Mad Max: Fury Road according to Entertainment Weekly. Miller made a trilogy out of the first Mad Max due to its success and now he has multiple duties (producing, directing, and writing) when it comes to this new film.
Mad Max: Fury Road won’t hit theaters till May 2015. Fans have a little while to wait for the film but here is the trailer to hold you over.
