A 56-year-old woman in Florida allegedly chased around a 25-year-old man with a knife and cane after he refused to have sex with her.
The Irish Independent reported that authorities said Elizabeth Highley chased a man more than half her age around after he “rejected her sexual advances.”
The Smoking Gun noted that an arrest affidavit said that Highley was entertaining Crue Finley in her home last month.
The two had been drinking wine together and the woman reportedly asked Finley for sex. When the younger man refused, Highley allegedly grabbed a hunting knife and cut his hand. She then grabbed a wooden cane and chased him outside the home where they encountered police.
The younger man explained what happened to the officer who talked Highley into dropping her weapons.
Officer Paul Hutchinson recalled that the aggressive woman was “angry, crying and appeared to be intoxicated” when he arrested her.
Highley was charged with felony aggravated assault and released on $3,500 bail.
