The single has a slower pace than that of "Cruise" or "Round Here" but it features the intense and powerful vocals of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley and has their signature classic yet modern country music sound in every note.
The song is about dirt but at the same time so much more, it highlights the moments in life that people go through and how in the end it is about the moments and memories that take place throughout the course of life that will matter. The listening audience will likely flashback to memories of their own life as they listen to the lyrics that perfectly tell a simple story about enjoying life and the simple things in it, in a whole new way.
Musically the song comes together in the chorus and features more of a classic country music tone focusing on the guitar rifts that help to frame the vocals. The duo has always been good at combining classic elements of country with pop infused melodies and "Dirt" does that once again.
Florida Georgia Line is a group that will not be stopped after their first album. They have the talent, the musicianship and the ear for picking hit single after hit single. With this follow up single being catchy, heartfelt and passionate, it is no surprise that fans are lining up to see the duo live and are already highly anticipating this new album.
