The View cohost Jenny McCarthy responds to rumors of her criticizing Melissa McCarthy’s weight, claiming they are "untrue" and "hurtful" to their family.
The two cousins have had an abundant amount of rumors surrounding their relationship, however, Jenny always manages to defend her cousin when the rumors surface and this time is no different.
Radar Online had reported that the Tammy actress would not be attending McCarthy’s wedding, claiming there is a feud between the two actresses regarding Melissa’s weight.
However, The View star recently discussed the rumors, admitting the circulating rumors are “ridiculous.”
"'They also say that I've 'banned' Melissa from my upcoming wedding, which is also ridiculous," the actress told People. "Donnie and I are planning a very intimate ceremony that will involve a very small group of our closest friends and that's it – not a huge production with hundreds of friends and extended families. It's hurtful that people make up stories that pit not just families, but specifically women, against each other.”
Melissa most recently released Tammy, which did not receive as good of reviews as many had hoped, while Jenny recently left The View and will be joining Sirius XM for her very own radio show, Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny.
