Musician Garth Brooks has announced that his comeback tour will start in Chicago, IL on September 4.
As previously reported by TheCelebrityCafe.com Garth Brooks recently had to cancel all five of the shows he had scheduled in Dublin as part of his comeback tour. However, with the announcement of the date and location of his first comeback concerts, it appears the world tour is back on track.
Garth Brooks has been taking a hiatus from touring since 2001 in order to be present in the lives of his three daughters according to The Chicago Tribune. However, now the singer is back in the touring game and beginning in the Windy City.
When announcing Chicago as the first stop in his tour, CMT.com reports that Brooks said, “As an entertainer, you get asked a lot, 'What are the best cities to play?’ Without hesitation, I rattle five or six of the best places to play, and that list always includes Chicago. It is the perfect city to launch the world tour."
Tickets for the World Tour go on sale on July 25 at $65.50, including service tax.
