Child molester Jerry Sandusky’s son, Matthew Sandusky, has opened up to Oprah Winfrey about his own personal abuse.

In 2011, Pennsylvania State University football coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested and charged with sexual abuse of many young boys over a 15-year period. Sandusky met the boys through a charity he created called The Second Mile, but apparently the abuse began in his own home.

The Oprah Winfrey Network has announced they will be broadcasting an interview with Sandusky’s son Matthew, according to US Today. The network has released a teaser to the interview, where Matthew Sandusky opens up about the abuse he suffered from his adoptive father.

According to Oprah.com, Matthew Sandusky spoke to police during the trial of his father and revealed that his abuse began at ten years old. This will be Matthew’s first interview since his father was convicted in 2012.

The interview will be aired on The Oprah Winfrey Network on Thursday, July 17th. The interview promises details of the abuse and the family drama that ensued when Matthew came forward.

The teaser can be watched at Oprah.com.
