Musician John Legend, known for his hit single “All of Me” has released the empowering music video for his new single “You and I (Nobody in the World” that celebrates all women.

The music video features numerous women of various of all shapes and sizes looking at themselves in mirrors. Through the video, all sorts of different women are seen and celebrated, from a woman with cancer to a woman whose nose is bleeding from boxing. There are also a few famous faces in the video, such as Orange is the New Black actress Laverne Cox, who was just nominated for an Emmy earlier this week, as reported by TheCelebrityCafe.com.

John Legend released this music video simultaneously with a companion documentary called When I Look in the Mirror which gives the stories behind various women who were in the video. These video’s together will hopefully promote gain support for the charity challenge #OperationGirl as reported by E! Online.

Legend spoke of the initiative, saying, according to E!, that, “We live in a world where egregious injustices occur regularly against girls and women. We have a responsibility to take action and disrupt the conditions that allow for such tragedies to occur. Through #OperationGirl we hope to amplify the voices and impact of the many organizations doing great work on behalf of girls and women."
