Apparently, once you watch a Katy Perry music video there is no going back. Katy Perry's music video for her hit single "Dark Horse" topped Youtube's 10 most watched video list.

The list, which is viewable as a video playlist on Youtube, also includes two Shakira music videos in the 2nd and 3rd spot ("Can't Remember to Forget You" and "La La La (Brazil 2014)" respectively). Also on the list is the sing-along music video for Frozen's "Let it Go" and the Chainsmokers' "#Selfie."

It appears that the video remained popular in spite of the massive controversy that had surrounded it as of late. Earlier this month, Perry was sued by Christian musician Flame for ripping off his song "Joyful Noise" and also hurting his popularity by making references to the occult and magic in her song.

According to BBC, the video also had to be edited in February to eliminate a scene showing a pendant that reportedly contained the Arabic symbol for God, being reduced to sand. A petition signed by more than 65,000 people claimed that the video was offensive to Muslims.
