A day after a woman was struck and killed in the Rocky Mountain National Park, another lightning strike on Saturday left another visitor dead.

The most recent strike also left four people with injuries park officials said and all five were hit by the strike at an area known as Rainbow Curve, Reuters reports. The popular spot to watch for rainbows following rainstorms is at an elevation of 11,000 feet.

Storms have been hitting the park and the surrounding area and the National Weather Service said to expect that to continue throughout the rest of the weekend.

On Friday a woman, now identified by RMNP spokesman Kyle Patterson as 42-year-old Yellow Springs, Ohio resident Rebecca R. Teilhet, was hit and died at the scene. Two others had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance and six others later took themselves to the hospital for treatment.

That lightning strike hit at the Ute Crossing Trail, which is off the paved Trail Ridge Road in the park. The weather was described as "monsoon-like."

Patterson has said Teilhet died at the scene due to the heavy rainstorms, which forced an air ambulance to work around "cycles of severe weather."
