Linda Perry blasts Beyoncé for her songwriting or lack-there-of. Perry is known for writing songs for Alicia Keys, P!nk, Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera. Beyoncé is credited on almost every song of her lengthy and impressive repertoire.

During an open Q&A session on Reddit, a fan with the username halftime25 asked the question, “Linda, how do you feel about Beyoncé changing one word on a song and getting writing credit. Does that bother you as a songwriter?. Perry responded with an answer that was a bit longer than her previous ones .“Well hahaha um thats not songwriting but some of these artists believe if it wasnt for them your song would never get out there so they take a cut just because they are who they are. but everyone knows the real truth even Beyoncé. She is talented but in a completely different way,” she responded.

Vibe Magazine mentions that Ne-Yo, a former collaborator of Beyoncé, handed Beyoncé a nearly finished “Irreplaceable” but the star added a few things and was credited for the megahit.

Linda Perry is married to The Talk co-host Sara Gilbert and is set to star in Make or Break:The Linda Perry Project on VH1. Beyoncé is currently on her record-breaking On The Run tour.
