How Rude?! Canadian band MAGIC! dethrones rapper Iggy Azalea’s seven weeks domination of “Fancy” featuring Charlie XCX on the Billboard Hot 100 with their hit single “Rude.” It’s the debut single from the band and makes them the first band since Fun. to take their debut single to the summit. Fun. began their six weeks at the top back in March of 2012 with their hit “We Are Young.”
Iggy still holds the No. 2 and 3 spot as “Fancy” slides down to No. 2 and she’s featured on the No. 3 song in the country, Ariana Grande’s “Problem.” As “Fancy” falls down the rank, Iggy and Charlie still makes gain with other songs on the chart. Iggy’s "Black Widow" featuring Rita Ora jumps from No. 97 to 65, while Charlie XCX’s “Boom Clap” reaches No. 16, Headline Planet reports.
At No. 4 is “Am I Wrong” by Nico and Vinz, which is stationed above Sam Smith’s soul/pop ballad “Stay With Me.” Sam Smith joins Iggy Azalea with having two titles in the top as Disclosure's “Latch”, which he is featured on, reaches the top ten at No. 10.
According to Billboard the rest of the top 10 contains the same songs. Jason Derulo’s “Wiggle” is No. 6, John Legends “All Of Me” is No. 7, Maroon 5’s “Maps” is no. 8 and “Summer” by Calvin Harris concludes the top ten.
