At least 17 children have died after being left in a hot car by their parents.

One man, Terry Bartley, wanted to show people just how much those children suffered.

The North Carolina man uploaded a video to Youtube of himself in a car, while temperate outside started to read 90, reported ABC News.

Bartley could barely breathe after 10 minutes.

“I was losing air, it was like I was sitting in a microwave cooking,” he said.

Bartley got his message across as he spoke to the camera, sweat dripping down his face.

The Youtube video has more than 1 million hits.

The death of 22-month of Cooper Harris who was left in a sweltering car last month shocked parents around the nation, and brought into light the issue of parents forgetting kids in their cars.

Cooper’s father, Justin Ross Harris, is being charged with felony murder for leaving his son in the car for hours on a 90-degree day, reported the New York Daily News.

He has pleaded not guilty, standing by his claim that it was an accident.
