The universe is continuing to send a message to pop-singer Miley Cyrus and that is, “Please stop.” Yet somehow, it appears the simple memo keeps missing Cyrus as she keeps on going.

Her concert special of her current Bangerz tour aired on NBC this past Sunday night and the ratings were far below par. Entertainment Weekly reports that despite the holiday weekend, the special only aired to 2 million viewers with a .07 rating among adults in the 18-49 age range.

The performance that included popular hits such as, “Party in the U.S.A.,” “We Can’t Stop,” and “Wrecking Ball” also included backstage footage still remained on the bottom of the charts, beneath repeats of The Simpons, Family Guy and reality series such as Big Brother and Rising Star.

When not performing, Cyrus also shared some ‘inspirational’ speeches of sorts including her thoughts on how her fans are kids who are not trying to impress their friends but are just ready to party and it makes her feel that they are learning from her, records New York Daily News. Cyrus also stated, “I feel like they think that I’m some sort of a leader, and I’m giving them the push to go forward.”

Maybe her low ratings will be a wakeup that she is not teaching as many kids as she may think, and that just may be for the better.
