Will country star Miranda Lambert make a foray into acting? The “Automatic” singer is reportedly involved in a comedy script called Something in the Water.

The script was written by music video director Trey Fanjoy and screenwriter Cindy McCreery and seems to be just Lambert’s cup of tea.

It’s about five women who compete against their significant others in a bass fishing competition.

Fanjoy compared the script to Bridesmaids and Steel Magnolias, telling Deadline she will ideally be directing the project too.

She’s directed Lambert’s music videos for “The House That Built Me,” “Over You,” and “Fastest Girl In Town,” and many more. She even directed her very first music video, so they’ve been working together for a decade. The duo recently won Female Video of the Year for “Automatic,” which they collaborated on together.

Lambert has shown off her acting talents before in a guest stint in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Fox News reports.
