The Interstellar trailer Christopher Nolan and Matthew McConaughey showed off at Comic-Con Friday has finally hit the web. While still keeping most of the plot under wraps, the new scenes show how important the father-daughter relationship is in the film.

The May trailer hinted at it, but this new one makes it clear that McConaughey’s engineer character is really dedicated to his young daughter. It breaks his heart to leave her, but he must do so in order to help save the human race. In the film, there is a worldwide drought and a team of astronauts is sent out to space to find another home. Wormholes are a used in order for the team to travel into deep space.

More scenes of Anne Hawathaway are shown, and we have Michael Caine narrating. There’s another shot of Jessica Chastain, but her part is still a mystery.

The new trailer was posted on IndieWire today.

“When you're on set [Nolan's] already conceived of this world that he's putting onscreen,” McConaughey told the Comic-Con audience about working with the acclaimed director. “This felt like independent filmmaking -- 3,4 takes, he moves on. It's by far the most ambitious film Mr. Nolan has directed.”

Interstellar opens on Nov. 6.
