A little healthy competition never hurt anyone, right? Well not for Nicki Minaj who has been accused of dissing Iggy Azalea during Sunday night’s BET awards.

During Minaj’s acceptance speech for best female hip-hop artist, the rapper said, “What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj: when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it.”

Fans are speculating the comment was supposed to be in regards to Azalea, who reportedly has writers to help her come up with her lyrics. However, Minaj took no shame in dancing along to Azalea and TI’s performance of their hit song “Fancy” at the awards, stealing the camera’s attention for a few seconds during the show.

Still, many fans have expressed their disappointment on social media about the feud, admitting they had hoped there would be some collaboration between the artists at some point.
