Police in Charlotte have arrested one teenager and are searching for two others after a video was posted on Facebook of them beating and robbing an ice cream man.
WSOC reported that the video posted online shows the teens attacking the man selling the cold treats, while others can be heard laughing about it in the background.
Two females and one male are allegedly involved in the assault and one female can be seen repeatedly hitting the man who tries to shield himself from her punches.
The Daily Mail noted that the clip has received hundreds of comments from outraged viewers.
One viewer, Manuel Fuentes, contacted the media about the video and said the seller was not doing anything to provoke the attack.
"It seems like he's not trying to fight back initially, like he just wants to be left alone and that's the thing -- you can't even be left alone," Fuentes said. "It’s just not right because the man didn't do anything.”
Police did, however, arrest one of the alleged assailants identified as Daishaun Tyrone Burney. He has been charged with common law robbery. The other alleged attackers remain at large but police are asking anyone with information about them to contact authorities.
