One Direction's die hard fans went wild after band member Liam Payne posted what appeared to be a full-frontal selfie on Instagram.
The photo showed 20-year-old Payne standing on a yacht with his crotch blurred out, which led many fans to believe he was standing naked. "Damn, that was my last pair!" he said in the photo's caption, reports Access Hollywood.
But for his fans, this just wasn't enough.
According to USA Today, fans protested with the hashtag #UncensorItLiam, in the hopes that he would show off all his assets.
However, Payne seemed to just be joking around with his fans. Seven hours after posting the original racy photo, Payne posted the uncensored version with the caption, "Oh I found them never mind aha." The uncensored pic showed Payne standing in short black swim trunks.
Oh, well. It looks like fans will have to leave the rest up to their imagination.
