Pam Brady to rewrite Judd Apatow's 'Business Trip'

South Park writer Pam Brady is about to go on a trip with Judd Apatow. Brady has been hired to rewrite the film Business Trip.

The Wrap reported that Brady had actually been contracted several months ago. Brady has supposedly been working on the new draft for six weeks. Given that she’s responsible for films like Hot Rod, Team America: World Police and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, Brady’s involvement is likely to generate positive buzz.

As Vulture reported back in 2010, Business Trip is about three women who go on, well, a business trip and get into wild situations on company time. Leslie Mann, Apatow’s wife and star of this year’s The Other Woman, was attached to star in the film from a script by newcomer Stacey B. Harman. Mann’s star has risen since then, so it’s unclear if she’s still involved.

The idea for the film first came from two employees from Benderspink, the production company behind The Hangover. Benderspink is producing along with Apatow.
