The Arizona Cardinals have made an agreement to bring back Patrick Peterson. Peterson signed a five-year deal worth $70 million, and $48 million is guaranteed.

He is the first player out of the 2011 draft to sign an extension with an NFL team.
Peterson is recognized in the NFL as one of the best cornerbacks who can put a stop to a lot of offenses in the league.
With three full seasons under his belt, Peterson is a three-time Pro Bowler, and a two-time All-pro, proven by ESPN.
He is a durable NFL player who does not sit out during regular season games. Since his arrival in 2011, he has consistently started and played in all 16 games, according to NFL.com.
Arizona finished the 2013 season with 10 wins and six losses. They were in the hunt but just fell shy of the playoffs last year. With Peterson’s return to the franchise, the organization looks to improve and make a strong push in the playoffs in the 2014 season.
