Hold on to your seats Pink Floyd fanatics, this October an album will be released after not putting out a project in 20 years. The announcement of one of the most successful bands in music history releasing a new album came after the Fourth of July.

The wife of singer-guitarist David Gilmour, Polly Samson, made the surprise statement via her Twitter account, reports RollingStone.

After a 20 year anniversary celebration of The Division Bell on July 1, Pink Floyd have unreleased tracks in the volt from those studio sessions in 1993 and 1994. Most of the songs are instrumental music, confirmed by pinkfloyd.com. Those unreleased tunes look to be put out on the new project The Endless River.

What makes The Endless River unique is band originator Richard Wright helped write and co-write material on the album. In 2008, Wright died from cancer, according to Forbes.

David Gilmour with Phil Manzanera produces the unreleased album, and Andy Jackson is the Youth and recording engineer. By summers end more details will be announced for Pink Floyd’s . Pink Floyd has released 14 studio albums up to date, making the 2014 October release album number 15 overall.
