Alix Tichelman, the high-priced prostitute suspected of leaving a Google executive while he suffered an overdose, was also linked to a death of similar circumstances in Georgia.
As previously reported, Tichelman, 26, is facing charges in connection with the death of Forrest Hayes, 51, who was found dead on his yacht in November in California.
Authorities say that she injected him with heroin, then gathered up her belongings, took a sip of wine and left him. Her actions were allegedly caught on a surveillance camera on the yacht. She was arrested over the July 4 weekend by detectives posing as clients.
Now, according to the San Jose Mercury News, the Milton Police Department in Georgia have opened up a new investigation into the death of Dean Riopelle.
He suffered a heart attack and fell into a coma before he died on Sept. 24, 2013, a week after his encounter with Tichelman. At the time, Tichelman said she was in the shower while Riopelle took heroin, so a medical examiner did rule his cause of death as an accidental overdose.
Obviously, since Hayes died of similar circumstances, authorities are now looking at Tichelman’s role in Riopelle’s death. According to WXIA, she actually previously faced charges for filing a false report against Riopelle, who owned The Masquerade concert venue in Atlanta, on Sept. 6 and battery.
Tichelman is currently being held in prison on $1.5 million bail.
