The royals took the stage at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The games feature boxing, cycling, gymnastics, rugby, and swimming. The royals looked ready for photo opportunities, and they offered plenty of smiles for a carefree day. They managed to pose with Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt. In addition to chatting with athletes at the Games, the royals spent a moment of time with organizers of some of their favorite charities. Middleton supported Sports Aid, while Harry and William supported Coach Core, a Royal Foundation that helps teenagers get qualifications in coaching and leadership.

Kate Middleton appeared in high heel shoes at the Commonwealth Games to play three tins, according to The Mirror.

Prince William and Harry participated in the game, “three tins,” with children at Glasgow 2014. In three tins, you knock down tin cans with a ball. Prince William and Harry played on opposing teams.

Prince Harry arrived at the green. The royals posed with the Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, for photographs, according to the The Daily Mail. All three royals spoke to the Olympic champion. They laughed before the photo was taken.

Harry and William were also seen at the city’s Gorbals Leisure Centre on day six of the Commonwealth Games. William and Harry also faced off at a five sides game. Harry’s team won.


Princes Harry and William visit Coach Core while Kate Middleton visits SportsAid

Princes Harry and William spent some time visiting Coach Core, a Royal Foundation that assists in helping teenagers get qualifications in coaching and leadership. It offers the possibility for young people to gain work experience and training in community sports coaching.

Kate Middleton attended a celebration hosted by SportsAid. She was seen earlier in the day, watching athletics in the city's Hampden Park stadium. She is a patron of SportsAid, and she funds rising stars of the British sport to allow them compete internationally. At the Home Nation House, she visited mentoring sessions lead by player Laura Robson, former world champion open-water swimmer Keri-anne Payne, Glasgow 2014 Team Wales captain Aled Davies and 2002 Commonwealth Games silver medallist Steve Parry.

Many of the athletes in Glasgow have had support from SportsAid. Some of the leading athletes include Sir Bradley Wiggins for Team England, Daniel Keatings for Team Scotland, Michael Conlan for Team Northern Ireland, and Geraint Thomas for Team Wales.
