Sarah Palin says that she is interested in joining the daytime talk show “The View.”
In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Palin said that she believes that a show like “The View” could benefit from her real world experiences. She also discussed the second season of her reality series, “Amazing America,” which premieres on SportsChannel.
“I hear everyone recently got canned from The View, maybe a show like that needs a punch of reality and a voice of reason from America's heartland to knock some humble sense into their scripts,” said Palin. “You know, someone willing to go rogue.”
E! Online reminded readers that there is only one remaining host for the 18th season of “The View”: Whoopi.
No one from “The View” or ABC has confirmed whether Palin is being considered for the panel or not. They maintain that all names that have been brought up, whether it be rumor or not, are up for a chance. After all, the show needs four more hosts for the fall.
Other names like Mario Cantone and Rosie O’Donnell have been brought to the surface as well.
When Palin was asked about Hillary Clinton's memoir she said, “I appreciated her boldness in explaining that behind-the-scenes campaign tactic of Obama’s,” which referred to a chapter in the memoir that Clinton refused to argue with Palin based simply on her gender.
Palin says that she has “reloaded” and is ready for new challenges. She’s fully recovered from the elections.
