Sigourney Weaver played Ellen Ripley four times on the big screen and is now returning to the character for the new Alien video game, Alien: Isolation. Developer Creative Assembly recruited other members of the original 1979 classic to reprise their roles as well.

Ripley and the other members of the Nostromo crew are back for two missions in the game, which will only be available as exclusive downloadable content when players pre-order the game.

According to IGN, the first mission, called “Crew Expendable,” allows players to see different parts of Alien from alternate perspectives from those in the film. The second mission, “Last Survivor,” puts you in Ripley’s shoes during Alien’s incredible finale.

“There’s no point in us trying to match beat-for-beat what occurs in the film. The film is much better at doing that than a game,” Isolation director Alastair Hope told IGN. “We came with the approach these guys had a plan to try and take on the alien, to flush it out of an airlock. What else could have happened?”

In an interview with the Associated Press, Weaver - who earned an Oscar nomination for playing Ripley in Aliens - said that the project came together very quickly. “I felt like no time had passed,” she said. “It was really strange, actually. If anything, it was more affecting to me to read it again 35 years later.”

Tom Skerritt, Yaphet Kotto, Ian Holm and Veronica Cartwright also came back to provide voices.

The main story for Isolation follows Ripley’s daughter Amanda, who was mentioned in Aliens. In it, Amanda finds the Nostromo’s flight recorder and another terrifying alien.

Isolation hits stores on Oct. 7.
