Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks has announced she will be releasing a second solo album called 24 Karat, following up 2011's In Your Dreams.
Nicks, 66, has decided to release this album with artwork she’s taken throughout her life. 24 Karat will be available on Oct. 7, with pre-orders beginning on Aug. 5.
According to UPI, songs off of 24 Karat includes works written by Nicks between 1969 and 1987.
"Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a love story. They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken hearted and the survivors,” she said in a statement. “These songs are the memories -- the 24 karat gold rings in the blue box. These songs are for you."
This fall, Nicks will join The Voice as a mentor on Team Adam with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. She will also embark upon a tour with Fleetwood Mac, which will see Christine McVie reuniting with the band.
