A man wanted for a double homicide in Seattle has surfaced in New Jersey where he allegedly held up at man at gunpoint outside a coffee shop.
According to the Seattle Times, police said that Ali Muhammad Brown, who is homeless, is wanted in connection for two slayings in Seattle last month and an alleged armed robbery on Sunday.
The Asbury Park Press reported that Point Pleasant Beach Police were called to a coffeehouse just before 8 a.m. for a reported robbery and attempted carjacking, Detective Patrick Petruzziello said.
A 46-year-old man told officers that he was sitting out front of the coffee shop when he was approached by the suspect. The gunman thought to be Brown pointed a handgun at him and demanded his wallet and car keys.
The victim was not injured and the robber fled on foot.
Back on the other side of the country, Brown is accused of killing Ahmed Said, 27 and Dwone Anderson-Young, 23, after meeting them at a nightclub called R Place.
The three men left the Seattle club and drove to Anderson-Young’s house, where Brown allegedly shot them to death in the street.
Police describe Brown as an African-American male, 6-foot-1 in height, 30-years-old and a native of East Orange, New Jersey. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on him is asked to contact authorities.
