Love him or hate him, Michael Bay has a polarizing film making style that has a way of topping the box office. With Transformers: Age of Extinction setting new box office records around the world and topping the domestic box office this holiday weekend, Bay is proving that he still has the ability to make a blockbuster summer film.

Bay started his directing career in the early 90s working in the music industry and hit it big in Hollywood when he directed Bad Boys and The Rock. In more recent years his style of filmmaking has not been universally loved but still tops of the box office charts.
