If you saw armed apes on horseback, what would you do? For now, you do not have to worry about it. Friday, June 11, 2014, you will see man versus primate. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a continuation of Caesar’s (Andy Serkis), a genetically enhanced ape, life in the wilderness with his followers. Since we last saw Caesar, Ten years have passed. The apes have prospered; however, a devastating virus tears through the human race.

A desperate group of survivors explore the forest and discover the ape colony. Immediately they are threatened by these abnormal creatures. Though the meeting started off hostile, the group calms down and mingles with the apes. Unfortunately, man has a tendency of destroying things they are afraid of or do not understand. War is inevitable.

The action, sci-fi, and adventure film was directed by Matt Reeves. Also, He will direct and write the untitled Planet of the Apes sequel, which will be released July 29, 2016. It appears that 20th Century Fox is very optimistic about Dawn of the Planet of the Apes success at the box office. For their sake, I hope this movie lives up to the hype.
