Under the Dome returned Monday night slightly down in the ratings, but still topped all competition for the night.
Fox won the night with a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.49 million viewers. MasterChef improved to a 1.9 rating, while 24: Live Another Day was even with a 1.5 rating, HitFix reports.
Right behind was CBS, which averaged a 1.6 demo rating, but had the best overall audience with 6.875 million viewers. The first two hours were repeats ahead of the network's last summer star. Under the Dome pulled in a 2.2 rating in the demo and 9.4 million viewers in its return, but the demo number was close to the show's series low.
ABC took third for the night with a 1.4 rating in the advertiser-important 18-49 demo. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Bachelorette was steady for the night with a 1.5 rating and Mistresses followed suit with a 1.1 demo rating.
NBC lagged behind with a 1.2 rating and 3.98 million viewers. Harry Potter: The Making of Diagon Alley special snagged only a 0.8 rating, while American Ninja Warrior averaged a 1.3 rating.
