Since Kevin Smith’s opinion is apparently well respected, Star Wars fans should know that the Clerks filmmaker was so impressed by the set for Episode VII that it made him cry.

Smith posted an Instagram selfie to show his eyes welling up with a tear. He wrote that he just visited director/co-writer J.J. Abrams and the set in London. After signing a nondisclosure agreement, all he could say is that he was in “tears and snotty nose of joy.”

He added, “The Force is WITH this movie. Holy Sith...”

This isn’t the first time Smith has used his super-nerd powers to give the rest of us a peek at a big project in the works. He has seen Ben Affleck’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice suit and even confirmed that a leaked schedule of future DC Comics movies is real.

Meanwhile, Harrison Ford was recently discharged from a London hospital after suffering an injury on the Episode VII set. However, that doesn’t mean that he’s ready to go back to work as it has been reported that he should be out for as long as two months.

Disney is still hoping to get the new film in theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
