A Virginia lawmaker who has already grabbed attention for the salacious charges he is facing, just brought his scandal to national attention by blurting out “OMG, I just f***ed my boss” on live television.
Joe Morrissey, a Virginia House delegate, got a press together for a conference Tuesday. According to TheWrap, the conference was covered live by WTRV, which did not have a chance to bleep the f-word.
Morrissey was hoping to prove that he did not have sex with a 17-year-old girl who worked as a receptionist for his law firm. He said he had proof that a hacker got access to his cell phone and the teen’s and created fake text messages to set them up.
“Our experts have uncovered the hacking device, the serial number and the texts,” he said during the conference. He then proceeded to read a few, including one that read, “OMG, I just f***ed my boss.”
Morrissey, 56, was indicted by a special grand jury on Monday, The Roanoke Times reported. In addition to a charge of indecent liberties with a minor, he was also charged with having pornographic images of an underage woman, plus solicitation. All three are felonies and he could get up to 40 years in prison if he’s convicted.
