Eight days of music videos from Weird Al's Mandatory Fun album culminated on Monday with the unveiling of the buzzword-filled "Mission Statement."
The video, which naturally enough is currently available only on The Wall Street Journal at the moment, features a song full of business buzzwords done through Crosby, Stills & Nash's "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes."
The music video follows Weird Al spouting terms like "transitioning," "functionality" and others while a hand draws everything out on a white board, very much in the style of PowerPoint presentations. The video took company TruScribe 10 months to put together.
"I wanted to do a song about all the ridiculous double-speak and meaningless buzzwords that I've been hearing in office environments my entire life," Yankovic told WSJ. "I just thought it would be ironic to juxtapose that with the song stylings of CSN, whose music pretty much symbolizes the antithesis of corporate America."
Over the past eight days, Weird Al has released a variety of music videos for the likes of "Foil", "Sports Song" and "First World Problems."
The latter song was released on Saturday and featured Weird Al donning a "douchey blonde wig" and singing about problems like his house being too big for Wi-Fi to reach his kitchen or forgetting the gardener's name.
The recent, and possibly last, album from Weird Al could possibly his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. He was projected to sell about 80,000 copies and just outdo other new release Yes! from Jason Mraz.
