Weird Al Yankovic has spent a week releasing videos and his latest album Mandatory Fun might be selling well enough to find itself atop the Billboard 200 by week's end.
According to Billboard, the album is currently projected to sell more than 80,000 copies by Sunday, which would likely be good enough to snag the No. 1 spot and his bestselling week, since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales.
During his career, he's only managed to crack the top 10 twice and once was his 1983 self-titled album. His competition has never snagged the top spot either, but has come close.
The album, which may very well be the last from Weird Al was tracking to sell just enough to fend off another new album, Jason Mraz's Yes!. His album is projected to debut with about 75,000 sold copies.
