As anyone who reads and loves the power of grammar knows, the Internet failed English class. So, in an effort to remind us all how important grammar really is, ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic has come to the rescue with his “Blurred Lines” parody.
Yankovic has turned the popular Robin Thicke tune from last summer into the English class hit of this summer. The song has become “Word Crimes” in his hands, with a unique video that turns topless models into apostrophes, quotation marks and other sexy forms of punctuation.
At the end of the video, Weird Al admits that he has a really big... dictionary.

The video is the second one of the week from Weird Al. On Monday, he unleashed “Tacky,” his star-studded send-up to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.” Jack Black and Kristen Schaal are just a few of the comedy stars that joined him in that video.
Both “Tacky” and “Word Crimes” appear on Mandatory Fun, which hits stores today.
