After reviving Community, Yahoo is looking into snagging the ratings-challenged Fox freshman comedy Enlisted from the canceled bin next.

Much like the NBC comedy, Enlisted would stream on Yahoo Screen should a deal between Yahoo and 20th Century Fox Television get hammered out, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sources say that there have been discussions over the past month about saving the show.

Though the show was well-received by critics, it never found an audience and Fox ended up pulling the plug after moving it to Fridays. Fast national ratings were always low, averaging a 0.7 rating in the advertiser-important 18-49 demographic, though the numbers rose to 3 million viewers and a 1.2 rating when DVR was included.

The show, which starred Geoff Stults, Parker Young and Chris Lowell, starred the three brothers as members in the Rear Detachment unit.

In late June, Yahoo announced that their first rescue was the critical darling Community, picking the show up for a sixth season and the possibility of more.

The main cast and executive producers were on board to return for a sixth season, which will run for 13 episodes and premiere on Yahoo Screen later this fall.
