Bill Murray has joined the ever growing cast of Disney's live-action/CG film The Jungle Book, which boasts a large cast of beloved actors.

Murray will lend his voice to the role of Baloo the bear, E! News, who was well-known in the classic film as Mowgli's relaxed pal.

The casting comes only a few days after Christopher Walken was cast to voice the leader of a group of apes and monkeys, King Louie.

The Jon Favreau-directed project, not to be confused with the Andy Serkis-led one in production and due out in 2016, features other well-known veteran actors, like Ben Kinglsey and Scarlett Johansson, who are on board to voice Bagheera and Kaa, respectively. Luther star Idris Elba will play Shere Khan, Lupita Nyong'o is Raksha and Giancarlo Esposito is Akela.

The only live-action role in the film will be played by newcomer Neel Sethi, who will play the lead role of Mowgli.

The Jungle Book is due out in theaters Oct. 9, 2015.
