The Voice's Blake Shelton announced on Friday that he will be releasing a new album later this year, called Bringing Back the Sunshine.
Shelton exclusively revealed the news of his 11th studio album on the Today show and said that it will be out in stores Sept. 30 through Warner Bros. Records.
While the tracklisting is being kept under wraps for the moment, the album cover for BBtS was shown, featuring a water tower from Shelton's hometown of Ada, Oklahoma. The black and white photograph shows a cloudy sky with sunshine beginning to burst through.
The album comes only a year after Based on a True Story, AfterMidnite reports. The album would go on to become the ninth best-selling album for the year with more than 1 million copies sold.
Shelton, who serves as a coach on the hit NBC singing competition The Voice, is out on his "Ten Times Crazier" tour. He will return to the singing program on Sept. 22 with Little Big Town assisting his team.
