Brad Paisley's latest album Moonshine in the Trunk is projected to debut in the top 10 on the Billboard 200, but won't be good enough for the top spot, which will likely go to Ariana Grande.
While the official numbers won't drop until the middle of next week, Paisley is projected to move nearly 50,000 copies of his latest album, Billboard reports.
While that will be good enough for a top 10 finish and definitely will be the no. 1 alum on the Top Country Albums, Paisley won't be able to come close to sales of Grande's My Everything.
Her album is expected to sell close to 160,000 copies in the week that concludes on Aug. 31. Grande will have hit the top of the chart twice in one year, while Paisley is still seeking to snag the no. 1 spot, though he has come close at no. 2 with 2011's This is Country Music.
Wiz Khalifa, who topped Billboard 200 this week with Blacc Hollywood after selling 90,000 copies, is expected to plummet down to the sixth spot on the chart. The fall will push him past the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack which he usurped this week.
