It doesn’t seem like Rita Ora and her ex boyfriend, Calvin Harris, split very amicably. On the heels of allegations that Harris prevented Ora’s performance at the Teen Choice Awards this past Sunday, he’s responding via Twitter.
Ora told Ryan Seacrest on On-Air with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday that he wouldn’t sign off on the performance. The former couple wrote the song together and Harris produced it, so he owns the rights to the song.
Harris has now taken to Twitter to slam Ora for speaking about it publicly and letting fans know he had a “damn good reason” for refusing to approve it.
“You'll only know 1 side of the story RE Teen choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life,” he wrote. “But just know I had a damn good reason.” He ended it with a waving hand emoji.

In June, Harris tweeted confirmation that they had split but had only kind words for her. “She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best,” he wrote at the time.
