Forbes has named Calvin Harris the highest paid DJ of 2014!
Harris got his start as a DJ in 2007, where he released his first studio album, I Created Disco. Following the success of his debut album, the “Feel So Close” artist released two more studio albums, Ready for the Weekend and 18 Months, which allowed for him to land his current two-year contract at one of Las Vegas’ most popular nightclubs, Hakkasan.
In 2013, Forbes published an annual World’s Highest Paid DJs list, where we learned the “We Found Love” DJ had made a whopping $46 million over the course of 2013.
The “Summer” artist, who ended his relationship with Rita Ora in June, came out on top again in Forbes’ 2014 World’s Highest Paid DJs list, with a total income of $66 million.
David Guetta (“Titanium”) came close behind Harris on the list of famous DJs, followed by Avicii (“Wake Me Up”), Tiesto (“Red Lights”), and Steve Aoki (“Pursuit of Happiness”), respectively.
